Native Californian, Joe Garcia lives and works near Julian, California where a forest of oaks and pines shelter an abundance of birds, deer and other wildlife. Joe earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. He has worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for 13 years. Since 1983, Joe has painted full-time. His original paintings and prints are found in galleries and private collections throughout North America. His work has appeared in annual wildlife shows, magazines such as Wildlife Art, Watercolor Magic magazine, US Art, The Artist Magazine in addition to being featured in 5 books on painting and painters.
